Cantine Bernardini is a delicious restaurant with a very pleasing staff
On a Sunday evening I went out for a dinner in Lucca with my family; Cantine Bernardini is a delicious restaurant with a very pleasing staff located at Via del Suffragio, 7 in the heart of the old city centre. After dinner, the owner told us about the ghost who inhabits the cellars, a centuries-old entity who was probably imprisoned there a long, long time ago... He said the ghost is friendly and there is no reason to be afraid of his presence, but at the same time he told us that his wife once met the ghost and was scared to death and the other staff members don't really like to be left alone at the restaurant. Just in front of Cantine Bernardini also stands Palazzo Bernardini, which was built between 1517 and 1523; the building is famous for a windows stone that never stays in place... They call it the Devil's Stone and you can look at it right at the entrance.
